2014: My Favorite Team Of The Year

Arizona Cardinals:
Baffled by injuries, suspensions, and arrests, the Cardinals went against all odds of having another losing season and went 11-5, clinching a spot in the playoffs. Having to turn to their third-string quarterback, it seemed all hope was lost of making the playoffs. Having one of the league's toughest schedules next year, the Cardinals will probably not make it to the playoffs next year. Making some terrible decisions during the season, some of those decisions decided some of their games. Almost half their team was made up of second or third-string players, but they almost always figured out a way to win. Going 2-4 in their final games, they held on to playoff contention.

Happy New Year! If you have a suggestion, leave it in the comment box.

How Did The Cardinals Get To 11-3?

I think the main reasons the Cardinals are at 11-3 are:
#1: With new defensive coordinator Todd Bowles, the Cardinal defense has improved a lot.
#2: Surprisingly, replacing players that have been around for a long time has only improved the team. Putting in John Brown has improved the offense dramatically.
#3: With second season coach Bruce Arians, the Cardinals have become a lot more disciplined and coordinated than with Ken Whisenhut.

There are also some major setbacks, which led to some of the team's losses:
#1: Suspensions, injuries, and arrests to Jonathan Dwyer and Carson Palmer, and many others have set the team's roster consistently undergoing changes.
#2: The team schedule was one of the hardest, mainly in the first few games.
#3: Some of their star players have been injured, which has led to some of their losses.

Top 10 NFL Preseason preformers

10. J.J. Watt, DE, Houston Texans
The Texans are coming off a 2-14 season, and the best way to crush the top QBs is to put J.J. Watt and Jadeveon Clowney on the feild together.
9. Earl Thomas, FS, Seattle Seahawks
The only reason is they won the Super Bowl last year,so they'll be pumped up and preform well the first couple of games, but won't win again for at least another three very long passing seasons.
8. Richard Sherman, CB, Seattle Seahawks
7. Adrian Peterson, RB, Minnesota Vikings
6. Calvin Johnson, WR, Detroit Lions
5. Drew Brees, QB, New Orleans Saints
4. Tom Brady, QB, New England Patriots
3. Luke Kuechly, MLB, Carolina Panthers
2. Peyton Manning, QB, Denver Broncos

And #1 is.........
Jadeveon Clowney, LB, Houston Texans

World Cup Finals Prediction

Score: Argentina, 3 Germany, 1
I think Argentina will win because they have Lionel Messi and because Argentina is a great team. Germany will come closer than ever to beating Argentina, but Bastain Schweinstieger, Thomas Mueller, and Miroslav Klose won't be enough to hold Messi and Argentina from winning the World Cup. Arentina slipped by lots of great opponents, such as Switzerland and Netherlands. Argentina will aim for their 3rd title, but that will be nowhere close to Brazil's 17 World Cups. No player is beaten by injuries, like Brazil's Neymar, with a fractured fibula, so it will most likely be a pretty close game. The two teams have been great and show no sign of slowing down. Brazil will be surely supercharged about this game, and so will I.

Quarter finals World Cup Prediction

Brazil Vs. Netherlands: 2-0, Brazil
Brazil will win because the're the host and are a great team that can communicate very well, comparing to other teams. Netherlands is not the team that will defeat Brazil, at least not this time.

Greece Vs. England: 1-0, Greece
Greece is a good team, but not much better than England. England is a good team, and Greece will probably just barely slip by them. So, in this one, Greece wins, 1-0.

World Cup Brazil 2014 Preview

Here are the teams that advance from their groups:

 Group A: Brazil,Mexico
Brazil, being the host and a powerhouse team, will surely advance. Mexico, on the other hand, has a few good players, but probably won't advance past the quarter-finals, but I think they will advance from their group.

Group B: Spain, Netherlands
Spain, being a very experienced team from the 2010 World Cup, which they won, will probably advance from their group. Netherlands, being from Europe and also being experienced, and the other teams in group B not being as experienced, they both will advance.

Group C: Colombia, Greece
Colombia comes from an area of countries whose main sport is soccer, so most people from the area know the sport well, so Colombia will advance. Greece will advance because Japan and Ivory Coast aren't very familiar with the sport, but Greece is extremely familiar with the sport of soccer.

Group D:  England, Italy
Italy has lots of  veterans and very experienced players, so they will probably advance. Plus, Italy is, by far, the most experienced team in this year's World Cup. England has Wayne Rooney, so they will advance because Wayne Rooney will probably go all out. Plus, England is a team who has faced lots of great teams in the World Cups, such as Pele, Lionel Messi, and Christiano Ronaldo.

Group E: France, Switzerland
Both teams are great teams. But, also, Ecuador and Honduras aren't very good teams, in the sport of soccer. But, France is from southwest Europe, which that area of Europe in specific, is a great area for great soccer teams to form. Netherlands, on the other hand, partly relies on France, in World Cups, to defeat the other teams for them to advance.

Group F: Argentina, Nigeria
I selected Argentina because they have Lionel Messi and also because they come from a region of the world were the soccer teams are great, in other words, southeast South America. Nigeria, I selected them because Iran and Bosnia and Herzegovina (Long name, right?) aren't very good soccer teams.

Group G: (A.K.A. The group of Death): Portugal, United States of America
I picked Portugal because they have Ronaldo and because there a great team. I picked the U.S. because there always has to be a underdog, so why not the U.S. this time? Plus, the I'm rooting for the home team. (Well, there's no fun in a World Cup without rooting for the home team.)

Heat Vs. Spurs 2014 NBA Finals Series Prediction

Series: Heat in 6

Game 3: 110- 99, Spurs
The Spurs will be running on all cylinders, Tony Parker will score 15+ points, LeBron will slump, Spurs win.

Game 4: 99-112, Heat
LeBron will score 25+, Tony Parker will score 15, in other words, Heat win.

#7 Texas Vs. #2 Michigan Preview

Score: Texas, 61, Michigan, 78
Michigan wins because of two reasons, Texas' lucky shot to top Arizona State was a miracle. It can't happen here. With Michigan's destructive offense, this second-ranked team won't go down like #3 Duke did against #14 Mercer. Texas will be a good challenge because of their powerful defense. With a game like this, the seeds tell the answer. Here is a chart showing my ranks of each  team's value. It is on a one to ten basis:

          Texas                   Vs.                    Michigan
           8.23                                                  9.27
Offense: 7.8                                                                      Offense: 9.8
Defense: 9.1                                                                      Defense: 9.3
Opponent: 9.7                                                                   Opponent: 9.6
Ball Handling: 7.9                                                              Ball Handling: 8.8
